BASSET HOUND CLUB
Membership in the LYC Basset Hound Club is open to all who are in good standing with
the Kennel Club and who subscribe to the purpose of the LYC BHC, including the Code
of Ethics and the Club Rules and Regulations.
Individual Membership: - Open to all persons over 18 years of age. Individual members
enjoy all the privileges of the Club, including the right to vote and hold office.
Requires a completed membership application form, signed Code of Ethics. Fee of £4-00
(plus postage for non-UK residents) must accompany application
Individual Life Membership: - Open to all persons 18 years of age and older and reside
in the United Kingdom. Life members enjoy all the privileges of the Club, including
the right to vote and hold office. Requires a completed membership application form,
signed Code of Ethics. Dues of £80-00 must accompany the application. Note:- Individual
Life Membership is available to UK residents only
Joint Membership:- Open to two persons 18 years of age and older who reside in the
same residence. Both persons enjoy all the privileges of the Club, including the
right to hold office, but will share one vote. Requires completed membership application
form, signed Code of Ethics. Annual dues of £5-00 plus applicable postage for non-UK
residing applicants, must accompany the application.
Junior Membership:- Open to persons 17 years of age and under. Junior members are
not entitled to vote or hold office, but are entitled to certain other privileges
of the Club, as determined by the Boad of Directors. Upon reaching their 18th birthday,
a Junior member must convert to a Single or Joint Membership, if he/she wishes to
remain in the Club. Requires completed application for membership, signed Code of
Ethics. Annual dues of 50p plus applicable postage for non-UK residing applicants,
must accompany the application.
